Come along for some delicious homemade soup (choice of 4) and a range of tasty sandwiches, all in a good cause.

Ullapool Stories at the Ferry Terminal

Ullapool Stories – films, slides and history from Ullapool Museum 

presented in the Ullapool Harbour Ferry Terminal by museum volunteers

followed by a short guided walk around the village

Film and talk lasts about 30 minutes – walk 30 minutes to 1 hour

These sessions are timetabled to coincide with the visits of cruises to Loch Broom but the talks and walks are open, and free, to all. Donations very welcome.

The First World War lasted for more than four years and cost millions of lives.

Between 1914 and 1918 the War engulfed the lives of everyone in Britain, Europe and the wider world. For the people of Lochbroom it was no different.

Ullapool Museum's new exhibition explores and commemorates the lives of the people of Lochbroom during the First World War.

Hear the powerful stories of those who went to war, and the voices of the families and communities left behind at home.

Ullapool History Walks - walk round Ullapool's History

Learn the fascinating history of Ullapool by walking round the village for about an hour with one of the museum volunteers Joan Michael. Stopping at points around the village you will learn about fishing, emigration, education, the churches and much more. 

Our planned walks have unfortunately been cancelled as Joan has fractured her ankle. Look out later in the season for possible new dates
