About this objectSite of Ceilidh Place: Red Row, now West Argyle Street. Joan Michael recalls: Red Row. From r-l House owned by Robert Urquhart's aunt and mother; shed; Mount Pleasant, owned by Mrs Mitford who owned the Captain's Cabin, (gt?)granddaughter of Sir John Fowler. These three buildings were turned in 1972 into The Ceilidh Place. Next along is Redcroft, latterly owned and demolished by Alec Ross of Ullapool Property Co.
